Quartz Mtn. #16 is perfectly located. This 2 level is within walking distance of Fort Rock Park and the SHARC Aquatic Facility water park. Sunriver Village Mall is also just a short walk or bike ride away and is filled with activities for the whole family, everything from seasonal activities to shopping to amazing food.

The fully equipped kitchen has stainless steel appliances, granite countertops, and a 4-burner gas stove. This kitchen has updated cabinetry, a deep double sink with a gooseneck faucet, and an attractive tiled backsplash. Enjoy views of pine trees and natural landscape and wildlife from the kitchen window while you prepare meals. The dining area is large enough to accommodate your group for a great home-cooked meal or an after-meal game night.


The vaulted tongue and groove ceilings provide a rustic, spacious, airy feel. The welcoming living room has a floor-to-ceiling rock fireplace so you can sit and relax while reading a book or watching a movie. You will find extended living on the new back deck complete built-in deck benches for outdoor seating and a BBQ for grilling up favorites. There is a private hot tub for relaxing after a long day of skiing, biking, hiking, shopping, or exploring one of the many activities Sunriver provides.


Upstairs, you will find the King master bedroom which has sliding door access to the upper deck overlooking the beautiful, forested area. The updated master bath includes granite countertops with dual vanities, generous cabinet storage, oil-rubbed bronze fixtures and stand-up shower.

Downstairs, you will find three additional bedrooms. The first and second both have Queen beds and flat screen TVs with cable. The third bedroom downstairs has two bunks equaling four separate sleeping spaces, perfect for kids or teens! The common full bath is downstairs as well with a Tub/Shower combo enclosed with sliding glass doors and upgraded oil-rubbed bronze fixtures.

This home comes with 8 Unlimited SHARC passes. Head to the SHARC, play pickleball, tennis, disc golf or head to the Sunriver Marina. The possibilities are endless. Hop on one of the two bikes to any of the local attractions.

Want to get out and explore?... Take the 18-20 ft aluminum canoe to the river or one of the many lakes, grab lunch and enjoy some peace and quiet. Two oars, 7 flotation cushions, 2 adult and 2 children’s sized life preservers are provided as well.

  We were there for a family reunion and what a great location. The interior of the rental showed its age. But it was clean. Very disappointed in the exterior. Somebody needs to clean up the grounds. We never used the hot tub or bbq. Wi-Fi and tv were great.

  This home hit the sweet spot for us in terms of amenities and value. Like many homes in the area, it's a little older. The kitchen and bathrooms are remodeled though and appliances are new. Each bedroom has a nice TV and the beds were more comfortable than most. We were especially pleased to find some memory-foam pillows and plentiful extra blankets. The home is situated on a very private cul-de-sac, but is a short walk to both Fort Rock Park and the SHARC. There are 10 (10!) passes to the SHARC. My only critique is that the house could use a good dusting and removal of cobwebs, but that's a minor thing.

  No concerns at all about this home in Sunriver. Great location and well described in ad. We were surprised to not have AC, but it wasn't advertised and we were fine in the end, despite the 100 degree temps. One stove burner didn't work and there was nothing to light the grill with... but those were easily solved or worked around. Staff was exceptionally responsive and helped us get in an hour early and brought us extra fans.

  Wonderful stay for the 6 of us. Plenty of room and the beds were comfortable.
  
  My only concern on cleanliness was the hot tub. It just didn't look or feel clean. I ended up not using it myself while we were there. Others in the family did use it and agreed the water felt slimy.
  
  One suggestion for improvement was the need for better glassware. If you needed a beer glass, you were well covered! Some stemmed wine glasses would be great.
  
  Sunset Lodging were great to work with. Our original rental was sold and they were proactive in helping us get another home for the holiday week. Very much appreciated! Would definitely use them again.

    Good morning Arlene. Thank you for the review. I checked your reservation and I don't see that you called to let us know about the hot tub. That is something we can do something about, quickly and easily. Sunset Lodging does not maintain this hot tub but we would have called the servicing company to have them clean the tub again for your group. There is not much worse than not being able to use the tub when you are here to relax. I can do something about the glassware and will let housekeeping and the owner know that additional glassware is needed; again, just a phone call to the office to fix this. We hope you will come again and stay with us - we are always here to make your stay the best it can be with just a simple phone call.

  Clean on arrival, amenities good. Property description accurate. Layout good for families.
  Our grandkids enjoyed the village activities, floating the river and pickle ball. Sharcq passes appreciated - needed them to reserved use pickle ball courts. Lifeguard shortage, so long waits at pool to get in if you even got to. Turned away one day even though we were in line 30 min early.
  
  General maintenance was as problem. Property management came promptly to fix what they could - unusable bike, cable, broken cabinet. Had to wait around one morning for Cable company from Bend to come.
  No lock on hot tub which we did not discover until the day before we left.

  We love the location and the set up of this home. The bunk room was handy for four kids to share while older, grown-up children each other on queen bedroom. It’s nice having the master bedroom upstairs, a little removed from the activity. The kitchen is spacious with plenty of counter space and living room seating is comfy and also offers plenty of seating for everyone. The location is very convenient to Fort rock park and older kids could get there quite quickly on their bikes. The village is a little further away but very doable.

  We had extended family at this rental and loved our experience! I personally think the house was nicer in person then the photos. The location is amazing as others have mentioned. Walking distance to the SHARC is 5 minutes and the village is 25 minutes.
  
  The house is really well laid out as well, and contains sounds well if you have people sleeping in the bedrooms.
  
  My only feedback is that the bunk room beds are pretty thin. Completely fine for younger kids, but older kids or adults will be uncomfortable.

  We loved our time at this rental! It was the perfect size for our family of 3 couples + 3 kids. It was very obvious the house was professionally clean, much appreciated. The back deck & hot tub were great with a view of the trees behind.
  
  Only issues we saw were some peeling of seat cushions in the hot tub + the toaster is broken. You have to hold the handle down the whole time you're toasting. This definitely needs replaced. Otherwise we had a wonderful time & will definitely be returning. Thank you!

  Everything was in very good shape except the carpets which have had a lot of use and should be replaced (otherwise I would give 5 stars). We liked the layout and it had everything we needed. It was very comfortable for us (4 adults and 4 kids). This unit did not have air conditioning which was not a problem b/c it is well shaded and it cools off a lot overnight, they provide fans if you need them. Unfortunately for our stay there were a lot of forest fires in the area and the smoke was sometimes really bad. Checking in and out was very easy. I would come back.

We were completely booked the week you stayed, but if you book early next time you should be able to get a home that includes SHARC passes. As far as the regular forks, fans and crockpot, we would have been very happy to deliver them out to you and will make sure that we go over to the house and get them added back in.   We really liked this cabin. The kitchen and upstairs were recently remodeled and are great. The walking proximity to SHARC and the Village is awesome (probably quicker to walk than drive). We were cooking Thanksgiving and found the pots/pans/knives to be a wee bit lacking. Pet and kid friendly, but in great shape.

Great space between house and bike trail. 20 minute walk with dogs to Village; close to SHARC, close to Fort Rock Park. Able to get everywhere easily by bike.   We had a great visit in Sunriver - a trip with my mom, my 2 sisters and our kids - we had a great time at Quartz Mt. 16 - the bunk room for the kids was perfect - cozy and fun! The other bedrooms were perfect and fit us all well. The living space was plenty spacious and the house was well stocked. The location near fort rock and right on the bike trail was great - very close to sharc and the village by bike or walking. Over all the house was charming, clean, comfortable and perfect for us.   We were glad to see a 15" blanket of fresh new snow a couple of days after we arrived. The house was nice and clean, the only issue we had was limited kitchen supplies (pans, utensils and such) Made cooking a challenge.

  We really enjoyed our stay at QM16. The house appears to have been recently refurbished so it was very nice inside and out. The kitchen has the bare necessities so if you think you might need something special I suggest bringing it. Our stay was in the middle of July when the typical daytime temp was 86 and the house would get pretty warm. We were able to cool it off at night but I would recommend bringing a fan or two. It's location is very convenient to the SHARC and Fort Rock park. Overall a very nice home.
