Mt. Hood #12 is a spacious Sunriver lodge style vacation home designed for unforgettable family gatherings and multi-family getaways in the heart of Central Oregon. Located near Fort Rock Park, the SHARC Aquatic & Recreation Center, and miles of scenic trails, this five-bedroom retreat offers the perfect blend of comfort, convenience, and classic mountain charm. With room for up to fourteen guests, the home provides a welcoming base for exploring everything Sunriver has to offer.

The home’s open living area features soaring vaulted ceilings, warm lodge-inspired finishes, and large windows that bring in natural light and views of the surrounding pine forest. After a day of skiing, biking, or exploring the Deschutes River, relax beside the rock fireplace or settle in for a movie night on the large flat screen TV. The spacious layout makes it easy for families and groups to gather together while still enjoying plenty of room to spread out.

The fully equipped kitchen overlooks the dining and living areas, creating an ideal space for preparing meals while staying connected with friends and family. Whether you are cooking a hearty dinner after a day of adventure or a quick breakfast before heading out to explore, the kitchen offers everything you need. Just outside, the private deck provides a peaceful setting to grill on the gas BBQ, enjoy outdoor meals, and relax among Sunriver’s tall pine trees.

After a full day of activities, unwind in the private hot tub or relax in the jetted tub located in the downstairs king suite. The bonus game room adds another gathering space with a foosball table and comfortable seating, making it a favorite hangout for both kids and adults. Central air conditioning keeps the home comfortable during warm summer days.

Mt. Hood #12 comfortably sleeps up to fourteen guests across five bedrooms and a bonus room. Bedroom one is located downstairs and features a king bed. All remaining bedrooms are upstairs. Bedroom two includes two twin beds, bedroom three offers a pyramid bunk and a twin-over-twin bunk, bedroom four features a queen bed, and bedroom five is the upstairs king primary suite. The game room includes a queen sofa bed for additional sleeping space.

Guests of this Sunriver lodge style vacation home enjoy twelve unlimited SHARC passes, which provide access to Sunriver’s popular aquatic center pools as well as the community tennis and pickleball courts, disc golf course, and the Sunriver Marina. The home also includes bikes, child bike trailers, and a baby jogger so guests can easily explore Sunriver’s extensive network of more than 33 miles of paved bike paths that wind throughout the resort community.

Additional amenities include multiple flat screen TVs, Blu-ray and DVD players, a stereo system, dishwasher, washer and dryer, microwave, gas fireplace, garage drink refrigerator, Pack ’n Play, and high chair. The bikes and Sharc passes were a wonderful add to the week. Fort Rock park is a quick bike ride, walk, or drive and was a daily gathering location for pickleball, kickball, and other games.

  Overall the house was great for a family vacation/get together we really enjoyed the sharc passes and the game room for the kids. There is lots of space and we never felt cramped. The downside was we had issues with two different bathroom toilets not working, the house could use a deep clean.

  We stayed here for our family vacation. The house accommodated us well however the home is dated & the house could use a thorough cleaning especially the floors. We could tell one of the bed’s box spring was broke as soon as we got in the room because the bed was sagging. Management tried to repair it right away but unfortunately broke again as soon as someone sat on the bed so the family in that room just slept on the floor the whole week.

  We had 4 generations stay in the house for 4 nights for a Spring getaway. Everyone enjoyed the house. The layout was very functional and comfortable. The big windows on the main floor were great for viewing the outdoors and watching the snow fall. The description and pictures were accurate. I was glad to see the SHARC was open, but disappointed it was only open for lap swimming, so we didn’t get to take advantage of that. The hot tub worked well, however. Everyone enjoyed the bikes and trails. The kids liked the playground which was nearby.

  When our grandson decided to get married near Bend, we immediately knew we were renting from Sunset Lodging and staying in Sunriver. The 5 bedroom house was perfect for us. The layout of the house was great, one king downstairs for Grandpa (and a huge closet with and air mattress available). Enough bathrooms for everyone to get ready at the same time. Large dining room table with an additional table behind that and four chairs at the bar meant everyone could eat together. Not having AC was not an issue, it cooled down at night and there were many fans provided. Used the garage for one car to help with the parking- four cars max in the driveway. Liked having a good selection of bikes but had limited time to use them due to the wedding. Enjoyed the SHARC one session since there was limited access due to COVID and staffing. Used the hot tub at the house several times which stayed clean with the floating chemical dispenser. House was clean, just wear and tear on the kitchen cabinets and an older carpet. Furniture was nice. Kitchen was well stocked for the limited cooking we did. Only issue I had was that the filter in the bottom of the dishwasher hadn't been cleaned for ??- with COVID I found this distressing. Otherwise, house was very clean. Lots of towels for everyone, laundry room was useful, extra little family room with TV was great. Thank You Sunset Lodging!

  This house sleeps 14. We had 9 and were swimming in rooms. Foosball table had three balls. Code checkin went seamlessly. Used the stoller and walked to many places. Hot tub was clean and easy to access. No coffee provided, but there was sugar. (Sometimes the coffee is a little bonus.) TVs were a bit finicky. Overall very clean, great jet tub in downstairs bathroom.

  We really enjoyed our stay at this house. It is set up for all ages to enjoy. The house was clean and cozy. Our kids enjoyed the foosball table. We had a great time on the bikes, which were in good shape and it was a plus to have 2 bike trailers. Also, we spent a day at a sledding hill so was nice to have sleds there.   Our family stayed with my sister and her family over Thanksgiving. It worked so well for our families. They had everything we needed in the kitchen including 2 big crock pots. Also the extra fridge/freezer in the garage was so nice with all the extra food! There were plenty of bedrooms for everyone and the two master suites were nice. They had several pack-n-play beds for the little ones as well as several high chairs. The kids loved the game room and the bikes provided in the garage. They had several tow behind (the bike) baby carriers as well. We had a great time and would recommend this home to anyone, especially families.

  We had a wonderful time at this home. It was even better than the description. It had doubles of the baby amenities which was a great surprise to us because we had multiple little ones that needed beds, high chairs and the baby carriers for the bikes were great. It made for a great family vacation. The new king size beds were comfy and we would definitely stay here again. The only recommendations would be to replace the toaster, it never worked very well and the toilet in the lower master bedroom. The handle had to be held down for a long period of time to get it to flush properly. Other than that we had a wonderful time with our adult kids and grandkids. Loved all the bikes and the Sharc passes.

  The exterior of the house is great. Nice back patio and hottub. Many bikes to choose from. Fantastic location.
  Cleanliness I gave two stars. The livingroom chairs are very used and dirty looking so we barely used them. The bedding too isn't the nicest, very used looking, beds were poorly made, which made us question the cleanliness a bit. A few items scattered around- pan with note on it, bunched up mat in the middle of the carpeted hallway (assuming it was supposed to be placed in front of kitchen sink?), garbage full outside. A broken window upstairs and another broken window blinds in master. Granted, when I contacted the rental company, they were very responsive and quick to offer assistance.

  Overall a really great experience. #12 Mt Hood Lane is a great house in a great location. The house was clean but there was a leftover urine odor in all the bathrooms. The house has great amenities but the living room chairs were soiled and saggy and the mattresses in the bunk room were not comfortable. They should toss the little rug in front of the kitchen sink - ugly and a tripping hazard.
  None of those things were too important. We had a good time!

Furniture gets deep cleaned then too, but if you ever have a situation where there is dirty ANYthing, please let us know so we can come out and at least spot clean it for you so you are comfortable. The busy summer in Sunriver does not allow us to deep clean between guests, so we are always fully prepared to spot clean whenever necessary.   We liked the house and especially the number of bedrooms and beds and bathrooms. The bonus room was great. The dryer needs to be repaired or replaced because it takes 2 long full cycles to dry anything.The remotes for the TV's were mixed up and needed new batteries.Some of the furniture in the living room was quite old. There is only 1 small table with 5 chairs on the back deck. That is not enough for such a large house that accommodates 14 people. There should be another table and chairs and maybe a couple chaise chairs. We did really like the open floor plan and all the windows and skylights for a lot of light. I would stay there again.

  We enjoyed the home very much. The location was great and was close to SHARC and short distance to the village. The only things that I think could be improved is the hide a bed was uncomfortable and the children slept on the floor instead. No AC. The fan on the furance was not enough for upstairs. The fans were not enough. The BBQ is in bad shape and should be replaced. We would stay again but not in the hottest season.

  The house had everything we needed in order to keep our whole family comfortable, busy, and happy. We were in the perfect location, so we parked our car for the full stay and used the provided bikes to get to and from everywhere- SHARK, Village, Horses, ect. It was especially nice to have SHARK passes since that was a regular visit during our stay. In addition, we loved having the huge hot tub on the deck plus a BBQ. You could tell this is a loved home and the owner's want the renters happy.

  We had a fabulous time in Sunriver! The house was great and worked well for our family of 10 (6 adults and 4 kids). We used the SHARC passes which were awesome and appreciated having bikes and helmets available, much more fun and convenient than having to rent. Unfortunately, I didn't notice on the website that there wasn't AC. That only became an issue in the evenings (my fault, not the house). My only other suggestion would be that the bed in the downstairs MB really needs to be replaced, it sags has no support, very uncomfortable (hence, the #3 on general condition). Otherwise a great house for us!!

  I brought our high school basketball team for a team building weekend. There were nine players and two coaches - and more than enough space and beds to go around. The house is beautiful, very comfortable accommodations. Great variety of pots, pans, plates, silverware - was pretty much like cooking at home. Would highly recommend staying here!

  The house is great. It's beautiful and comfortable and had just about everything you could need. We took full advantage of the sharc passes and there were bikes fit everyone. Even a stroller and high chair for our baby. Basically we're ready to go back and just move in.
