  Kids had an absolute blast. The property is pretty far north in Sunriver which was a big plus for us. The bike paths were less busy and the kids loved the long rides to the village. The bike shed has four cruisers which were in good shape. We opted to rent sportier bikes to help with the hills and many (many) bike rides out kids wanted to go on, along with a trailer for the littlest. The only thing I would say is that while they advertise a nice new air conditioning system, they don't let you use it. The lowest you can set is 72. It cools off at night in Sunriver, but our kids on the top floor were roasting. Heat rises and the thermostat is on the bottom floor. There was also no fan option to circulate air through the system to cool off the upstairs rooms. The windows do open, but with kids sensitive to light and sound they opted to roast instead.

    We are so glad that you everyone enjoyed their stay. 72 is a standard temperature to leave A/C units at. This helps prevent the units from freezing if set lower. The area cools off at night by at least 40 degrees and with windows open it does cool down the houses at night and then in the morning, shut everything up and homes stay cool.

  Had the best time in Bend! The cabin was perfect for four adult adults and one child. It had every amenity and was very comfortable. It allowed for us to play games in the living room with everyone having a seat at the couch. I would definitely rent the exact same place if I were to return to Bend in the future.   The 4 bed, 2 bath house was very well equipped and well-organized. We celebrated a birthday while we were there and the kitchen had everything we needed to bake a cake and a special dinner. In fact, literally every drawer or cabinet was labeled w/ the contents. The location near the north store was handy. While the house does sleep 8, it was a little on the small size for that many adults and I would probably not rent it again for a group of more than 6. Also, while there is a shed which contains bikes, there is no garage so don't count on storing more than one additional bike of your own.

  This little house is perfect for 2-3 couples or families with kids. The location is beautiful and quiet, yet only 7-9 minutes away from Sunriver Resort, the Marina or other Sunriver destinations. The Marketplace is around the corner, which is a nice plus. The house is very clean, organized and comfortable, and the kitchen very well stocked. We loved the cruiser bikes, with bike paths so close to the house, which take you all around Sunriver and to the river. The jacuzzi is clean and nice to end a day. We had deer come up to the big backyard deck a couple of days. The week started very hot, but despite no AC, the standing fans in each room helped a lot and we kept the house cool by opening the windows at night and keeping the blinds close during the day. Finally, the management was prompt in responding and helpful. Check in and out was a breeze. Great vacation home!

  Dixie Mt. #3 is very comfortable and has a well equipped kitchen, a nice outdoor deck, and hot tub. Having 4 separate bedrooms with comfortable beds and a sink in 2 of the bedrooms plus 2 full bathrooms is a plus. Four bicycles with helmets are also provided by the owners. The Livingroom has a gas fireplace comfortable furniture and a big screen TV. The location is an easy walk to the North Store. We have been renting each summer for nearly 20 years and love this vacation home!

  I categorize this rental as a late 20th century vacation home, of a type that is common in Black Butte and Sunriver. Half the house is kitchen/dining/living room, with cathedral ceilings, fireplace, and large windows. The other half is two levels of: shared bathrooms (no master bath), relatively small bedrooms, and washer/dryer/storage. These homes are not large and not luxurious by 21st century standards. But they are pleasant, functional, and not that expensive to rent.
  
  I’ve recently stayed in two other rentals in Black Butte/Sunriver in this category. This rental provided the best experience. For its category, it gets a 5-star rating. A few reasons why. Adequate parking in driveway (Sunriver bans parking on streets). Wonderful southern exposure with living areas full of light on sunny days. Well-equipped kitchen. Lots of posted signs letting renters know how the house works (e.g., hot tub, outdoor grill, thermostat, light switches, bike storage). A good shower on the first floor. While not close to the SHARC, it is close to a grocery store. Importantly, at my visit, the house was clean and everything in the house worked. My advice is simply, before getting a rental in this category, make sure the size and amenities of the house meet your requirements.

  The most well equipped kitchen in a vacation rental I have ever found, right down to the rice cooker and crockpot!! A little challenging not to have a garage for storing things but we utilized the bike shed for many things. Everything well organized. Bedrooms a little small but adequate. vanities in two bedrooms very helpful. We also used the SHARC passes for the homeowners' boat launch and that was very convenient.

  Really enjoyed our time on the deck and in the hot tub. The new couch and comfortable chairs in the living room made watching the big screen TV enjoyable. The kitchen is well equipped which we appreciate as we enjoy cooking on vacation. Liked the gas grill on the deck. We also like the 4 separate bedrooms and the 2 extra sinks in 2 of the bedrooms. The beds are comfortable. Fans and good reading lights are available in each bedroom. The house stays cool if blinds and windows are closed during heat of the day and windows are opened in the evening. A big ceiling fan in the living room keeps that room comfortable without AC. The 4 bikes are old and in need of upgrading.

  This is a fantastic home, very well equipped, particularly the kitchen. Everything has labels with how thing work and where they belong. It was spotlessly clean and very well organized. We are a family of 6 so the four bedrooms and 5 beds was great!! The hot tub was fantastic beautifully clean. I would suggest taking your own bikes or hire bikes as the provided bikes are old beach cruisers. The back deck was great for sitting and relaxing in the sunshine. We would recommend this house to anyone, we had a fantastic vacation!!

  We picked this home because it was the only one left within our price range during a week in August. Lucky us, we had a great overall stay!
  It seemed small in size for 2 families, 8 people, but the layout inside was great, including the kitchen with room for everybody around the kitchen table and outside around a large table, or in lounge chairs on the deck. The deck was even more amazing than in the picture. It was surrounded by just enough large shade trees to keep you from frying completely yet leaving plenty of sunshine as well. The hot tub was very clean and worked great, including the changing disco lights!
  The bedrooms were separated by bathrooms giving everybody a little privacy, and the sink in two of the bedrooms were a nice and convenient touch . The beds were comfortable and clean.
  The living room was as the picture shows a "great room", with a high ceiling and open to above/the 2nd floor.
  This is not a luxury home by any means but a nicely maintained and clean accommodation with a surprisingly well equipped kitchen including champagne glasses (could use a cast iron skillet though). As long as you're happy biking up a few hills getting to and from the SHARC pool, the Marina, Nature center and other fun places, you'll surely enjoy your stay at Dixie #3.

  I have never stayed anyplace so organized! I love the labels on everything. All equipment had operating instructions posted, so I was able to easily enjoy all the amenities. I had a great time. I'll be back!

  This is a cute, clean little house. No frills except for the fabulous new hot tub, but totally met our needs for our family of four with two little kids. Everything in the house was functional. Kitchen well equipped. Has BBQ worked well. Nice back porch with table and chairs. Cable TV and Internet worked great. No AC FYI and suspect if it were really hit the upstairs could get a little stifling but we were able to just open the windows at night and cool down nicely. Mattresses could use an upgrade but were passable. Overall a nice stay at great price.
